Sustainability of dishes

Alice and her team of chefs work closely with Direct Seafoods, to improve the sustainability of dishes served across the group’s pubs. 

“With so many of our properties along the coastline, awareness of fresh fish and seafood is very high amongst our customers. I think since lockdown, and particularly post-Brexit, there’s a heightened awareness, and supporting UK fishermen is more than ever a cornerstone of our approach to sourcing,” says Alice. “It’s something that also definitely resonates with customers.”
