What is Native Squid?
Native Squid is active in the day/light, in the Pelagic area of the ocean. During the night/dark, Native Squid fall to the depths of the ocean and are less active. Squid have an interesting lifestyle where at the end of their lifecycle (approximately 1 year) they spawn and die, this is the reason there is a huge lack of squid between the months of March and August as this is the period when the new generation of Native Squid are growing.
